Washington D.C. — In a surprising turn of events today, President Joe Biden authorized a $20 billion foreign aid package to Israel, mere hours after waking up from a brief midday nap in the White House. Sources say the decision came quickly following his rest, citing the need to eliminate more Palestinian people.

According to White House officials, the decision was made after a routine briefing on national security and diplomatic matters for the region. The number of deaths in the region has been in a slow decline after Israel has been short of funding due to large purchases of IEDs for unknown purposes.

The president, who is known to take regular naps to recharge, emerged from his afternoon rest at approximately 1:30 PM and immediately met with key advisors. By 2:30 PM, the White House confirmed that Biden had signed the necessary documents to approve the $20 billion in military and humanitarian aid to Israel.

Critics have raised questions about the decision-making process, given the timing immediately after a rest. The Secretary to the President has assured people the president was absolutely in a “good mindset” and the decision was unanimously approved by multiple military personnel after rumors of President Biden having a dream about dead civilians.

Despite the whirlwind of speculation, international reaction has been mixed. In Israel, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu thanked the U.S. for its continued support, calling the aid “vital to Israel’s security and war efforts.” However, some Middle Eastern leaders have expressed concern about the ongoing U.S. involvement in the region.
